This mat is 33” and 2 cm thick. We chose the 2 cm thickness after robust debate over the merits of 3 cm versus 2 cm. It came down to easier mat storage for us while not compromising on beautiful design. The circles design is part of a Geometrics Series. Geometrics was born after daydreaming about the tiles of a specific borough in NY based tile producer. We haven’t been able to score those sold out tiles yet, but we are ready when we do! In the meantime, the mat pairs beautifully with tiles and racks from vintage sets and many of the terrific newer mahjong houses out there.
